Narrative

A small, low, ice-capped island, about 9 km NNE of Lewis Island. Discovered from the MV Kista Dan in 1956 by an ANARE Expedition led by Phillip Law on 18 January, 1960. Named after Anton Moyell, first officer of the MV Magga Dan in 1960.
